Year 6 Trip to the Tower of London

Tudor Times

Year 6 went off to Tower Hill last week as part of their learning about the Tudor era. They met at High Barnet Underground Station and made their way through to the capital. As they arrived, they were shocked by the sheer size of the castle grounds and were blown away by it's beauty. The children had so many questions which they wanted to find out the answers to, so they set off to investigate.

Whilst on their tour, they were treated to seeing many things such as the Crown Jewels, the White Tower (which has been home to many english royals), the torture chambers and rooms used to hold political prisoners (such as Walter Raleigh and Anne Boleyn). It was an amazing trip and so much knowledge was taken away from it. The children behaved impeccably and were a credit to the school.
